02–03 September 2026: C4DT Panels at the Global Digital Collaboration Conference 2026
(Part of the broader GDC Conference running 01–03 September)
Where? Palexpo, Geneva
When? Wednesday 02 September: 12:00–12:50 Thursday 03 September: 16:00–16:50
Why participate?
C4DT is organizing two thought-provoking panels at this week’s Global Digital Collaboration Conference in Geneva, and we would love to see you there.
On Wednesday from 12:00–12:50, the first panel picks up where last year’s “e-democracy, e-topia” discussion left off — one of the most attended sessions of the previous edition. Drawing on the concrete lessons of Switzerland’s recent e-ID vote, it will broaden the lens to examine how digital tools are reshaping democracies and the political landscape more broadly. What does the e-ID experience reveal about the road ahead for digital governance?
On Thursday from 16:00–16:50, the second panel takes on a question that feels more urgent by the day, as geopolitical alliances shift and digital dependencies deepen: does collaboration strengthen or weaken sovereignty? Bringing together participants from around the globe, the session will explore the tensions and synergies between international cooperation and national autonomy in the digital age.
